About Me
I believe everyone can embrace who they are,
define their future, and better their community.
My name is Amanda Huntington, and I am a Candidate for Pepperell’s Select Board. I bring with me a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility and community advocacy. As a long-time resident, who is raising four children here, I have a deep-rooted love for all that this unique small town offers. I appreciate what Pepperell is and want to help it thrive. These are unprecedented times and we are at a crossroads for Pepperell’s future.
I am devoted to representing the needs of the people, harboring fiscal accountability, fostering unity, and propelling the town toward a future where all residents can flourish.
My experience in Public Relations as a Community Education Director for the Groton-Dunstable School district matched with a successful venture into small business ownership showcases my proficiency in project management and community growth. These positions have refined my capacity to lead with a community-focused strategy, ensuring that every project I oversee mirrors the town's shared aspirations. As Co-founder of a non-profit organization intended to transform the Peter Fitzpatrick building into a center for arts, education, and recreation demonstrates my ability to envision and carry out intricate projects. My decision to step down from the very organization that I helped to create, emphasizes my dedication to fiscal responsibility and transparency.
My approach to leadership is centered on solution-oriented strategies, transparent communication, and fostering inclusivity. I aim to guide us towards a brighter, more prosperous future. It is my mission to work with each tax-subsidized organization and/or department and help them understand that a budget is not a suggestion.
